Our aim is to spread the light & warmth of hospitality across our community. Being a small independently-owned and run operation, we bring together thoughtful service in an inviting and aesthetically pleasing setting as we strive to minimise our carbon footprint.
Our state of the art coffee equipment can only ever so slightly be eclipsed by our specialty award-winning signature blend, individually roasted as single origins daily here in Melbourne, then blended in to achieve the perfect balance. This marries perfectly with our locally-sourced Jersey milk or your favourite alternative milk.
With batch brew on tap, a chocolatier with free-flowing melted chocolate atop the most delicious fresh strawberries, an extensive selection of delectable petits gâteaux concocted locally by our very own French pâtissier and an exciting lineup of Viennoiserie & croissanterie, we are sure to have both your on-the-go needs as well as your sit-down recharge from shopping covered.

Our Story
Growing up, as we watched our parents welcome guests into our homes, we would time after time witness the warmth of hospitality in what we believe is its purest form. Our folks would ensure that the house was always spotless, they would cook up a feast, they would offer our guests the best seats at the table and not the wonky chair. They would open the nicest bottle of wine that they could afford. As kids, we’d often be asked to go around with the platter of canapes and served our guests. Little did we know at the time, but those turned out to be the early beginnings of Francois!
These values are ingrained across our passionate team. Not only have we retained the warmth but we also take great care of the simple things. We are on a mission to spread the same light and warmth of hospitality across our community.
